Back in the Forest

Moved home today to spend a week in the Forest to take some new images for the summer exibitions!
Need to get inspired for Landscape work again but living here it shouldnt be too hard!

1st day

I had my 1st days work experince today, I was on a "snatch" shoot to get someone who was due to appear in court this wednesday. We ended up waiting for 5 and a half hours in a highstreet waiting for this man, we were about to leave when he left his house and the photographer I was with took a series of photos from accross the street using his 300mm telephoto lens.
The office enviroment was much more different than how I had imagined and I was asked to wearing a shirt and tie next time I have a placement.
I am going back this Thursday and am looking forward to more interesting stories and jobs.

Solent photo agency

Still trying to get a placement sorted but finally it looks like I will be able to get a few days in here at Solent news and photo agency, this would be really good for me as it is a very comercial atmosphere and that is what I need to learn about and be a part of.

Tripod

Using the large manfronto tripods is really amazing, wish I could afford to get one. they hold the 5x4 really well and would be great for my digital for Landscape images and any portraits.

Missed a few weeks

But I will do a triple post to make up for it!

I have new news for work exp, I might be doing something with the BBC or National Geographic magazine which would be amazing as I really dont wan to do studio work as my passion lies in landscape.
I could be working with http://www.tonyhowell.co.uk/ which would be great to see how his wildlife and landscape workk comes together and to assist him in anyway possible.

Also my favourite skateboard site Theberrics has now started a weekly photo update which is really interesting, you dont normally get to look at the behind the scenes and its great to see what goes on that doesnt get featured in the videos! here is a selection from their 1st post.

abd thirdly the sun is getting pretty epic at the moment in the forest around 5.30 the golden glow dazes the area in a almost magical light and everything is picked out and details become more apparent, hopefully I willl get a few images whilst I am staying at home here!

Spill!

I managed to get a photo of a huge 18wheeler that had tipped over on my drive back from a shoot in southampton. the sand was still pouring out as I drove by!
