Space Camera

NASA wants us to choose places on Mars to take photos of with their mega camera thing!

Since beginning its scientific operations in 2006, the orbiter has been flying at about 7,800 mph [between 155 and 196 miles above Mars' surface], while the HiRISE camera takes images of 3.5-mile-wide swaths. The camera has now taken roughly 13,000 pictures.

And although that's barely 1% of the Martian surface, a single HiRISE image will often produce a multigigabyte image measuring 20,000 pixels by 40,000 pixels. The HiRISE camera, nicknamed "the people's camera," is capable of photographing objects as small as a desk on Mars.

A standard computer can take up to three hours to process just one image

Placement

I want to find somewhere that I will be instested in working at and I had tried to organise work at a studio in Lyminton but they are not currently doing any projects.
So I was looking for places closer to Bournemouth as I won't be able to afford travelling to London or places that are further away.

I found Photo6 In Bournemouth which is Landscape photography which is the genre that I have done well out of in my personal work.
I want to look at it in a comercial sense and will try applying for work here

Andy Mumford

Although some of his waterscapes do seem over the top on post editing I am still a huge fan of his work and style. He really captures the atmosphere of the landscape and although some of the images may be seen as "cheesy" sometimes cheesy can be good!
